Dear parents/ carers,

Happy Friday to you all, what a super day of sunshine it has been today!

A relatively shorter newsletter this week, just a few updates and reminders.

  • If you haven’t already done so, please could you spare a few minutes to complete the online survey which will support the development of the School Travel Plan.

So far, there are only 15 responses, ideally I need at least 75% of the school community to respond to give a reflective view; thank you.

  • Snow day!  Just in case we have a rather large helping of snow on Sunday and into next week which impacts on school opening…

I will email Key Worker families and Nursery by 7.30am if we have to close, I will then update by 4pm on the same day regarding any further closure required.  If we are in school and have to close early, I will email out to parents and if needed the office will call for you to collect your child/ren early.

If your child does not attend Key Worker or nursery provision, online learning will continue without change.

  • EYFS and Key Stage 1 ‘Road Rangers’ and Key stage 2  ‘Safer Steps’ interactive comics

During these current times, where walking is being encouraged, the Safer Essex Roads Partnership has two on-line Road Safety interactive comics, “Road Rangers “suitable for EYFS and all of Key stage 1, and  “Safer Steps” suitable for all of Key stage 2.

Both on-line comics are free of charge for use in school and to send home for parents/carers to use with their children.

Parent consultations 3rd and 4th March, 3.30 – 6pm: This term the parent consultations will take place over Teams or Zoom.  The online booking system will go live at 10am Monday 22nd February and close at 10am on Monday 1st March
