Henham and Ugley Primary School is a village school situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Henham on the outskirts of Bishop’s Stortford.
Henham and Ugley Primary School is a one-form entry school with a morning nursery provision. Our specialist staff ensure the very best start for your children. We ensure the children are able to settle into their new learning environment with ease. Many of our children continue at the school after Nursery due to the surroundings being familiar and the transition feels very natural.
I am very proud that we also offer a breakfast club and an after school club facility throughout the school week. Our wrap around care is provided on site by our own staff and enables working parents to drop their children off from 7.15am and latest pick up is at 6.15pm.
This is pre-booked and paid for using our simple online school payment system and childcare vouchers are also accepted.
Henham has an active and very successful Parent Staff Association (PSA) who work together to raise additional funds for the school. This money enables us to buy new equipment and technology which has a direct impact on our children’s learning.
We are fortunate enough to have a very committed and skilled Governing Board that works closely with the school to ensure Henham is a special place to learn.
