Dear parents/ carers,
Welcome back to the start of the summer term and I’ll dive straight in with the exciting events leading up to celebrate the King’s Coronation in May.
Friday 5th March, we have the PSA Coronation Bake off! A flyer, including allergens to be listed, is attached with details. There are four categories:
Early Years / Key Stage 1
Key Stage 2
Staff
Siblings
The idea of the siblings category is for those with more than 1 child at the school. You can have x1 entry for your children rather than having to produce more than x1 delight! The products will be judged on taste and design so get baking! You will then be able to buy the delights at the cake sale afterschool on Friday 5th May.
Also on Friday 5th May is a chance to dress up as a royal! Come into school in a royal outfit of your choice – either fiction or non-fiction, to help us celebrate the lead up to the Coronation on bank holiday Monday 8th May.
Finally, is a fantastic Coronation Writing Competition. Closing date Thursday 4th May.
BSCFC are running Weetabix Wildcats sessions
Fun, Friendly Football Sessions for Girls aged 5-11.
The sessions have now moved outside to the 3G on Wednesday’s 5pm to 6pm at Birchwood High School, Parsonage Lane, CM23 5BD and recommence on 19th April 2023
Please pass this onto any Girls you know who may be interested in coming along for some football fun!
