Dear Parents / carers,
What a great celebration we had at our Christmas church service this morning. With the joys of all the classes contributing, plus the orchestra, led by the wonderful Liz Kadir with her relentless energy and enthusiasm, it really was a great way to celebrate being together as one community this morning. A message from the PSA – A Big Festive Thank You!
Well, what a wonderful end to the term over the last two weeks, with so many fun events, fabulous nativity plays, and music showcases!
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that supported the Christmas Bazaar last week, and also the Christmas parties yesterday. Both events were a huge success, and were really enjoyed by the children, and us grown-ups too!
So many parents and family members helped to make these events the success that they were, and we’d like to thank all of you – those who contributed to the many requests for various things we bombarded you with over the past month, to those who helped organise, those who helped on the day (year sixes included), those who donated raffle prizes and finally those who came along and spent their hard earned cash! A special thanks goes out to Chantelle McArthur and Roz Petch, who took on the mammoth task of organising this year’s Christmas Bazaar. We really are lucky to live in such a wonderful and supportive community in Henham.
The Bazaar raised an amazing £1,446, which is absolutely fantastic! This takes this year’s fundraising so far to a whopping £3,080, a huge step towards our annual target of £8,000.
We wish you all a very merry and joyous Christmas and festive period, and we look forward to many more fun events in the New Year. H&U PSA.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. I look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 8th January 2020.

With best wishes,

Kim Hall
