Science

At Henham and Ugley Primary School we use Developing Experts as a scheme of work.

What is Science?

Science is a way of making sense of the world and the universe beyond it through observation and experiment. Science in schools covers basic concepts of life sciences, Earth and space sciences and physical sciences.

What does it look like at Henham?

At Henham, we aim for all children to have a Science curriculum that allows them to develop a deeper understanding alongside a sense of awe and wonder about the world around them. Through an enquiry-based curriculum that promotes Working Scientifically Skills, children will develop an understanding of how relevant and important Science is in their lives and wider future.
