Dear Parents,

What a wonderful week it has been with science being the theme across the school.  The children have been able to enjoy a variety of practical investigations and experiments this week, culminating in a carousel of activities across the school this afternoon, mixing with other classes.  A super way to end the half term.

Last week of course was Year 6 SATs assessment week.  It was a week of pure pride.  We try and make SATs week as stress free as possible.  The children were amazing, relaxed and ready to give their best, which they have done.  We are so proud of them J

This week has also seen some of the Year 6’s take part in bikeability, preparing them for riding on the road.  The remaining children will have their sessions on Tuesday 4th and Thursday 6th June.

Lunch Menu changes:

After discussions with the children, we have decided to bring back the baguette option on the lunch menu.  This revised menu will apply straight after half term.  The Week 1 menu will be available from Tuesday 4th June.  The revised menus are attached for your reference.

Year 3/4 Production DVD:

Thank you to those that have ordered and paid for a copy of the Year 3 and 4 production of Cinderella Rockerfella, these are being distributed today.

If you would like a copy of the DVD, it’s not too late!  You can still order and pay for your copy on the ‘Scopay’ system during half term.

Outstanding monies:

Please could I ask that all outstanding monies are settled by the 31st May.  If you are experiencing difficulty, please do contact myself or Mrs Hipperson.

The PSA are busy putting together a fun day for the whole family – our annual school fete on Saturday 29th June. After half term we will be sending out more information of how you can help, but in the meantime, we are asking for prizes that would be suitable for the raffle.  These can be brought into school after half term; thank you in advance.
