Dear parents/ carers,
What a great end to the week we had with so much yellow around the school in connection with World Mental Health Day! Everyone really embraced the yellow theme and the children were involved in some wonderful activities that Mrs Cowell has kindly collated together, which is attached to this newsletter.
Design a Christmas Card project with Prontaprint Bishops Stortford: you should have received your child’s design home now. A reminder that all orders need to be returned directly to your child’s class. If you would like additional forms, just let your class teacher know.
A reminder for Year 6: A reminder that If your child is in year 6, you can apply for a secondary school (year 7) place between 11 September 2020 and 31 October 2020.

Student Update Forms: Thank you to those of you that have already returned your student update forms, if you haven’t, could I ask that you return them to us as soon as possible so we can ensure we have up to date contact information for you.
Staff Vacancy: We are in need of a relief Mid-Day Assistant. When needed, the hours would be 11.45-1.15pm. A reminder of what’s coming up over the next few weeks:
School Photos: The photographer will be in school on Monday 19th October for individual photographs, (including Nursery children).
Parent Consultations: Monday 19th and Wednesday 21st October from 3.30pm – 6pm. I will send more detailed information regarding the logistics of the meetings later this week.
Nursery parent consultations: we will be holding meetings for your children separately after half term. I will send out more information nearer the time.
Last day of half term: Thursday 22nd October (normal pick up time)
Non Pupil Day: Friday 23rd October
Half term: 26th – 30th October
Non Pupil Day: Monday 2nd November
Children back at school for second half of the autumn term: Tuesday 3rd November
