Another week has flown by and there has been much excitement in Key Stage 2 this week. The children in Years 5 and 6 had a wonderful trip out at Harry Potter World. They sat on broomsticks, dodged a fire breathing dragon, bought mementoes, sampled butterbeer, sat on Hogwarts Express and wandered through the Great Hall. Zayn got to open the great doors as it was his birthday, and plenty of fun was had by all.
The children are busily writing their Harry Potter inspired piece and the display in our library, (and soon-to-be media suite), is testament to how inspired our children have been by this topic.
Many thanks to our fabulous volunteers for giving up their time to support the children, and to Jo Halladay for coming in and painting Harry Potter designs on lots of little nails.
Also this week, the children in Years 3 and 4 have been busy rehearsing for their upcoming production of Cinderella Rockafella. We are all looking forward to their performances next week.
